" Served cold from the ice bucket, this wine initially appeared simple with fruity strawberry bonbon and fresh leafy notes ; long, fresh and mineral with a gently phenolic finish. But wow ! As the wine warmed up in the glass, all the floral, rich and creamy notes typical of Bourboulenc filled out the palate, balanced by the freshness of the Rolle and the red fruit of the Grenache, creating altogetjer characterful rosé "

"The LEOS cuvée Augusta 2022 rosé, we imagined it as a white wine with a subtle balance between acidity and fat. The rose petal color is very engaging. On the nose, an elegant freshness emerges. A fragrance of floral notes recalls the significant presence of white grapes in the blend. On the palate, the attack is frank and refined. The finish is long, persistent and always on its balance between freshness and roundness. LEOS is obviously tasted as an aperitif but this wine with a strong character, will accompany dishes with Mediterranean flavours."

" Pretty pale pink color, light, limpid and brilliant. The nose is very charming, floral, small red fruits and Mediterranean citrus fruits. The mouth is clean, straight and persistent. We find the aromas of the nose with a nice roundness, persistent. A good acidity gives freshness rather than heaviness. Nice complexity."

"Nicolas Jaboulet & Patrick Bruel sign, and this from their first vintage, a tasty and suave rosé, predestined to fine gastronomy. Style of choice for a rosé of taste, in good shape. If the exercise is very popular to produce a rosé worthy of the name, successes are not always happy.Yet the rosé deserves all the attention in the vineyard and then in the cellar before being appreciated like any great wine. The cuvée Augusta Rosée, born under the auspices of the endearing 2022 vintage, at Domaine Leos is one of the major successes in the Mediterranean IGP. white pepper), a far cry from varietal ones. arms and are so many promises of marked flavors. We will gladly combine it, by serving it decanted with red mullet in escabèche seasoned with saffron, a piece of matured beef, marinated then lacquered with a little tomato pulp or a Chèvre du Rove and candied sweet onion will also reserve the best welcome"

“The color of the Cuvée Augusta 2022 rosé is brilliant with a color with pale pink reflections, very soft. The first nose is intense with floral notes, and upon stirring it develops great complexity with notes of white fruits such as peach, always accompanied by these floral notes. The palate has a frank and ample attack, and the wine then develops with roundness. The finish is fresh, thanks to the subtle blend with Rolle, and with a pleasant persistence. This wine is not only pleasant with fresh and light dishes such as salads, or even as an aperitif, but thanks to its structure on the palate it will also go perfectly with grilled fish or meats this summer! "A pale color with a beautiful shine. A floral nose with notes of stone fruits with a light aroma of star anise. In the mouth a lively attack followed by a beautiful roundness with the fruits returning Fine and delicate finish. I can easily see this wine with a carpaccio of scallops or langoustines. "

LA REVUE DES VINS DE FRANCE

« Domaine de Leos, Cuvée Augusta for lovers of great rosé [...] Since rosé is back on summer tables, we introduce you to this gem from Domaine de Leos [...] the grapes for the Augusta vintage are harvested by hand on the L'Isle terroir- sur-la-Sorgue, with the help of Stéphane Derenoncourt, using Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and old Carignan vines. This reveals a desire to produce an exceptional wine with a pale color, a petal version of rosé, with an intense nose, a round and persistent aromatic bouquet on freshness. Fine, balanced and already well rated by the greatest oenologists and sommeliers, it goes from aperitif to meal, as well with a tomato salad as with ceviche, white meat or grilled fish. Served between 8°C and 11°C, such a pretty bottle will be the talk of the table. »

]...[ It is a real wine, which has everything of a beautiful white except the color. It makes you fall in love. It has a very beautiful vinous structure. This is a wine for wine lovers, not rosé lovers. He is frank and greedy probably like his creator who I don't know in real life. He is ambitious and goes way beyond his color. Ideal with anything that is delicate, rather white, French or Italian charcuterie... The bottle reminds me of a bottle of perfume or eau de vie or a shell that goes straight to the heart! It's a wine of the heart...

“Made with Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and old Carignan vines, Cuvée Augusta comes from hand-harvested grapes, produced in limited quantities (10,500 bottles) and vinified at the Luberon cellar – Its pink color is pale , bright. The nose, bursting with fresh fruit and citrus, releases an intense aromatic bouquet. The mouth offers a pleasant roundness and a nice freshness on notes of small red fruits. This harmonious wine offers tasty combinations as an aperitif, with tapas or with fish or shellfish. It will also be the perfect companion to an entire summer meal! »
